Community Bible Study - Peoria Day Class

Feb 2, 2017 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Community Bible Study is a non- denominational Bible study.  We will be studying The Red Sea to the Jordan River.  It looks at Exodus, Leviticus and Numbers which tell the story of how God delivered His chosen people, the israelites, from Egyptian slavery and established them as a new nation.  This is not just a history lesson, but it tells the story of a holy God's faithfulness to aweak and sinful people like us.  Don't be surprised by how practical the topics in these Old Testament books really are.  Because of Biblical themes like doubt and faith, complaining and grace, crisis and intercession, and failure and repentance, the opportunities for spiritual growth offered in this course are plentiful.

Small groups for men and small groups for women meet to discuss lessons and then everyone gathers to hear practical insight to living what we learn from God's word together.  Children's ministry includes infant, toddler, preschool and early school age children.  There are trained, caring teachers who share a Bible story, craft, music, and games with the children and a light snack is served. Reservations for children are requested.

Community Bible Study - Peoria Day Class

Feb 23, 2017 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Addictions Program

Feb 24, 2017 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Got addictions?

We can help with that.

The Addictions Program at the Bloomington Baptist Church is a faith-based, Christ-centered addictions program utilizing the Reformer's Unanimous Curriculum. Every week we hear stories of victory, receive small-group counseling and receive instruction and guidance on overcoming the challenges, temptations and addictions that we face.

This addictions program is not AA. We provide help for any addiction, not just alcohol. No one will attempt to guilt you or ask you to introduce yourself as an addict. At Reformer's Unanimous, our desire is to help you find victory and complete freedom from your addiction-- to remove the addiction from your life so that it ceases to have a hold on you.

Everyone is welcome.
