Building Update…
THE LORD LEADS IN A NEW DIRECTION!
For the past few years, we have given you updates regarding Build To Reach Out, our building program. As you probably know, WBNH is at a crossroads. Our lease in the rented suite we occupy in downtown Pekin expires October 31! And we have been working for the past year and a half, planning the building of a new studio on our tower property in East Peoria.
Praise to our Lord, Jesus Christ! He has led us in a new direction! For months, the WBNH Staff and Board prayed about building a new studio. As we continued to seek God’s wisdom, it became apparent that He had prepared a blessing beyond our imagination. He led us to an existing building located at 1919 Mayflower Drive, Pekin (near Royal Colony Estates). Sometimes, speaking about me (Jim) personally, I can’t see the forest for the trees! God had this planned all along! The Board offered a bid on the building, and it was accepted. GOD IS AWESOME – WE PRAISE HIM FOR HIS PROVISION.
The new building will position WBNH to build equity instead of paying rent. This will free up future funds for projects like digital multi-band broadcasting, which will reach more souls for Jesus Christ. (Call Jim at 347-8850 if you are interested in an explanation!) Our new location will also allow us to open our doors to local Christian groups. The new building has a full basement that could be used for Youth Groups or Christian family events. Currently, we have limited space for Share, meetings, storage and offices. It will be nice to have a neat, organized, spacious office!
We’re so grateful God provided a building for about half the cost of what we would have paid if we had built new. Now, we believe He is asking His people to do their part to further His ministry. In addition to the cost for the building, we will incur some costs to build a control room, construct a microwave tower and then move. For example: Do you have any idea what it will take to move a huge satellite dish from the roof of a three story office building?? We are looking at total expenses of approximately $300,000. We’re asking you to prayerfully consider supporting WBNH in a new building. If the Lord leads you in this direction, please contact us for several options on how you can take part. Operations Update
This summer, as we do just about every year at this time, we are seeing a decline in giving towards day-to-day operations. In this tough economic climate, we see several Christian organizations tightening the belt straps. We are blessed in that we still pay our bills each month, but we’re seeing a drop off in donations now. We trust God to provide for us every month, but this month, we’re watching our check book a little bit more closely.

Just several weeks after the addition of little Alex Huber to the WBNH family, two more babies made appearances in the past week!!!
Johanna and Judah – two new additions to the WBNH family!
Our Office Manager, Nancy Theobald, tells us they are thanking the Lord for their 10th grandchild, Johanna Ruth Theobald, born July 30th, to Brandon & Janelle Theobald of Canton. This is their 6th child.
Our Operations Manager, Keith Lang and his wife, Becky, are the proud parents of their first child, a son, Judah Jay Lang, born on August 4.

Two Excellent Concerts Coming!
We have scheduled two excellent concerts for the not-too-distant future. Mark your calendars for:
Sara Groves appears in concert at Grace Church in Morton, on Saturday evening, October 9, 2010! Sara has been with us in the past and we’re excited to welcome her back this fall! We’re still working on details for ticket information, so stay tuned!

Keith and Kristyn Getty appear in concert at the new Grace Presbyterian Church on Route 91, northwest of Peoria, on Saturday evening, February 5, 2011. We’re really excited about the welcome our friends from Grace Presbyterian gave us when they learned of the Gettys coming. This big, beautiful new venue promises to make this a most special evening! Again, ticket information is forth-coming. We’ll keep you posted!
Pray for the Ministry of WBNH
Many of you let us know you are praying for us! We thank you and ask for your continued prayers as we move through the rest of this warm summer and then, Lord willing, transition to our new building. Please know that whatever the Lord puts on your heart to pray for His ministry will be very much appreciated. We are excited about what God has done and look forward to His future blessings.
